There is nothing remarkable about this place
There is nothing remarkable about this place is a documentary photography project capturing the understated beauty and shifting emotions within Saskatoon and its surroundings. Between 2021 and 2023, each July visit revealed subtle landscapes—from salt lake beaches to quiet neighbourhoods— that mirrored her own feelings of isolation and loss. Originally a retreat from heartbreak, these annual trips evolved into a journey of connection, as her relationship with the city deepened with each return. It was first self-published as a photo book in 2022 and is an ongoing project.
